Hello everyone, this is Mariah Cruz and you’re listening to the Spiritual Deep Dives Podcast.

For thousands of years, there were ancient spiritual truths and mystical teachings passed down only to the highest initiates walking the path back to God.

So let’s dive right in to this unique and powerful form of prayer.

What you are hearing is an advanced dynamic decree given by members of The Summit Lighthouse. I wanted to play this for you first because it may trigger a soul memory of having heard decrees before, maybe even in a dream you remember when waking up to in the morning.

Here’s what Brian recalled the first time he heard a group decree like this: 

Back in 1978 I was new to the teachings of the ascended masters and had just arrived at a Summit Lighthouse conference called Soul Liberation held in Pasadena, California. It was the first spiritual retreat I had ever attended so I didn’t know what to expect. 

After registering, I started walking to the large assembly hall across campus where I was told the main program was already in progress. Getting closer, I could hear the steady rhythmic hum of decrees coming from inside the auditorium and they sounded strangely familiar. In fact, in that instant, a strong memory rose up inside me that not only had I heard these before but had actually given decrees on inner levels. At the time, I didn’t know exactly what this all meant but the feeling was unmistakable. 

As I entered the auditorium, I saw hundreds of people of all ages and walks of life comfortably seated and all saying the decrees in unison. It felt like pure spiritual power and I couldn’t wait to join them! At first I struggled with learning the decrees at the fast pace they were given. But it wasn’t long after the conference before I was able to give the decrees at the more advanced pace.

I also found out later that many souls travel to etheric retreats when they sleep at night. These are universities of the Spirit where we go to pursue the path of self-mastery and learn how to fulfill our divine plan. I now believe it was at these retreats that I remembered having given decrees before.

So let’s build the foundation in this deep dive by first defining what a decree is.

As a noun, a decree is a foreordaining will, an edict or fiat, an authoritative decision, declaration, a law, ordinance or religious rule; a command or commandment.

As a verb, it means to decide, to declare, to determine or order; to ordain, to command or enjoin; to invoke the presence of God, his Light/Energy/Consciousness, his Power and Protection, Purity and Perfection.

Now, in the Holy Bible, Isaiah forty five verse eleven tells us: “Thus saith the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands, COMMAND YE ME.”

And Job twenty two verse twenty eight says, “Thou shalt DECREE a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.”

Decrees are offered as praise and a petition to the LORD God. They are dynamic commands for change in personal and planetary conditions. 

They are also rhythmic mantras or fiats spoken out loud. The quickest, safest and most beneficent power of all can be drawn down from God through decrees.

In order to build our understanding of how decrees work, we need to establish the fact that we play an important role as co-creators with God.

When God made man, he wanted to create a duplication of himself. Therefore he “made man in his own image” as Genesis one verse twenty seven tells us, and he saw that which he had created “was very good” which is from Genesis one verse thirty one.

Most people think that the words, “in his own image” relates to the physical bodies we wear. They fail to consider that God as a Spirit created us in the SPIRITUAL image of Himself and that likeness of His Spirit is engraved upon our inner being. So, we can understand there is much more to us than our physical body. In fact, we have four lower bodies that envelope our soul (as we discussed in Episode two) as well as a Higher Self and an individual Divine Monad commonly called the I AM Presence. 

In John ten verse thirty four, Jesus challenged the powers that be when he said: “Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?” 

Many incorrectly interpret this to mean that we belong to God and are his property. But what Jesus and Moses were telling us is that we are actually gods in manifestation because we are a divine creation made in His Spiritual image and likeness.

Like a drop in the ocean, we are a part of God, a part of the whole which contains the same Holy Spirit that He is. This means we have the authority to command the Light of God into our form and out into the world to make positive changes. The quickest, most powerful way to call down this Light is through the use of decrees.

The next point that’s important to know is that decrees call upon the Lord’s Hosts.

When giving a decree, we begin by addressing God and petitioning his ascended Sons and Daughters to amplify the action of our decrees. Many in the Christian community call it blasphemy to pray to any one other than God. This is another misconception. Here’s why:

Many men and women through the ages descended from God down to this planet just as you and I. They went through the vicissitudes of life, became victors over the world and ascended back to God in the Light, just as Jesus did from Bethany's Hill. 

Like Jesus, they are also known as ascended masters, no more subject to the ills of the flesh and the struggles of moving about in the dense physical bodies we now wear.

And, importantly, God has absorbed them in His Divine Love and they retained their unique individual identities.

This demonstrates the unity of God midst the diversity of His creation. It’s the many Sons and Daughters, all with their unique attainment, all linked to the one God. They are not strange gods or idols; they are living Light and there are far more Ascended Masters in heaven then people living on earth.

Their unique identities are the reason why we call upon certain Ascended Masters in a decree to perform specific actions. Their service to life didn't end when they won their ascension. The same is true when we ascend; we won’t have to reembody but our service to life will continue from spiritual levels.

Because these ascended masters have developed tremendous attainment in one or more God qualities, they are the perfect heavenly beings to call to when decreeing for God’s intercession in specific personal and worldly matters.

For example: The ascended master Saint Germain took the quality of Freedom and externalized it everywhere through the universe. Wherever Saint Germain moves, the great radiation of God Freedom moves with him. 

Freedom is one of the many qualities of God. Saint Germain took that quality into himself and made a greater focus of freedom than almost any other person that had ever walked the face of this planet.

So, when you give decrees to Saint Germain, you’re amplifying through you every quality of God’s Freedom that he has attained. 

This makes giving decrees much more powerful that simply lifting up your hands to God and saying something like, “I love you God. Help me solve this problem. Amen.”

So next, we’ll discuss how decrees are structured and expand on what makes them so effective.

Decrees are generally composed of three parts and can be thought of as letters to God.

The first part is the preamble. This is a salutation that invokes the universal God above and within our hearts as well as the Ascended Masters. When given consciously and with reverence, you immediately have the attention of the Lord’s Hosts and they become engaged, ready to work with and through you.

As a general rule, the preamble usually starts with the words, “In the name of the beloved mighty victorious Presence of God, I AM in me, and my very own beloved Holy Christ Self...”

This means the God in the universe is related to the God in you and your Holy Christ Self is your very own individualized universal Christ presence. This is the version of yourself you are destined to become one with. It is your voice of conscience, the divine mediator and the sun of your soul. 

In the next part of the preamble, we appeal to the externalized qualities of God in every Ascended Master. This invokes the Light of God that is in the Master and that Light is being added to the Light of God that is in you. 

In other words, you are asking for what they have attained. So the power of your decree is multiplied and the Light you draw down goes forth to bless the whole universe.

After the preamble, you can ask for an action on specific issues in your personal life, your loved ones or on problems happening around the world.

It’s worth mentioning here why your prayers sometimes don’t get answered or the answer may come in unexpected ways. It depends on many dynamic factors in play such as God’s Will, your karma and the karma of others, or whether what you asked for is aligned with your divine plan or the divine plan of the earth.

For example: If a family member is dealing with a serious illness and your prayers don’t seem to be  making any difference in their condition, it may be because they need to go through a period of suffering as a way to balance some substantial negative karma they made in this or a previous embodiment. 

So, if we can change our perspective a little and look at pain and suffering as a blessing, we will understand that this is one way to balance our karmic debts to God. And this is a good thing because negative karma keeps us apart from God. So the more karma we balance, the closer we get to God and the more of God we become.

Another way to balance our karma is by serving God’s creation in some way. Saint Teresa of Calcutta once said, “Love means to be willing to give until it hurts.” She made her ascension and became an ascended master because of her undying service to the poor.

But the most powerful way to dissolve our karma is through decrees and especially the violet flame, which we covered in the first three episodes of this podcast.
  
In future episodes, we will dive deeper into the concepts of karma and reincarnation but for now, understand that we never know what the true cause of people’s suffering is so we shouldn’t judge anyone. We should only send love to all.

But be assured that the Light you invoke through the prayers and decrees you offer on behalf of others will always help to balance your own karmic debt to life because this is also a service to God.

So, let’s discuss the second part of a decree which is the body.

The body of the decree is what you heard at the beginning of this episode. They are specific scientifically composed words by the ascended masters that will fulfill a certain purpose. 

It’s important to engage your thoughts, feelings and imagination into what you’re saying in the decree and be aware that the masters are also concerned and engaged with what you are decreeing on. 

The phrases in the body of a decree are actually thoughtforms that you can visualize while you’re reciting them. The more you consciously engage in this action, the more powerful and effective the decree will become. In other words, you need to give of yourself to God in order to receive back His Spirit.

What makes decrees even more powerful is giving them together in a group. The effectiveness becomes multiplied and amplified exponentially. You would be amazed at the Light and energy that’s released when you’re in a group of four hundred people all giving a decree in unison. The power is unstoppable and many are raised to very high states of consciousness.

Julie, who has been decreeing for over forty years says that when she decrees in a group she is often transported above the earth in consciousness where she sees intense needle-like light rays bursting out in all directions from the earth’s center and millions of angels encircling the planet. “It’s like watching a cosmic multidimensional movie.” she says.

I should also note here that it’s important to avoid hanging on to negative thoughts or feelings that pop up while giving decrees. When this occurs, visualize them being consumed by the fire you are invoking and redirect your focus back to the words of the decree. With practice and gaining more discipline of your mind, eventually you will instantly be able to let go of all negative thoughts and feelings and keep your focus on the Light being drawn down.

Another tip while giving decrees is to see the Light pouring down upon you like a powerful waterfall. Then expand that out from your aura to enfold the whole world while you give all your heart to God. All the Light and positive energy you are generating will go out into the universe and souls who are in tune with this vibration even on other worlds will be blessed.

With time, you will build a momentum and it will become easier to hold very powerful and effective visualizations that will bless all of life and you will be balancing a lot of your personal karma.

Now, I want to discuss why decrees are given in a specific cadence and rhythm.

The rhythmic action of decrees are like a sine wave that cuts right through the negative lines of force that saturate the atmosphere. This negativity often takes the form of dark grids and force-fields that carry all kinds of negative human discord such as sickness, disease, death, misery and fear. So, decrees literally penetrate through and consume darkness on a level that no other form of prayer can. 

This is another reason why decrees are the most powerful and effective of all applications to the Godhead. When you engage in decrees with your entire being, you are working as one with God, the ascended masters and angels to create tremendous positive change in yourself and the world. There’s nothing more satisfying than knowing you are serving God in the same way the great spiritual adepts throughout the ages have done. The release of the knowledge of decrees is one of the greatest gifts ever given to mankind in this age. 

So, let’s move on to the third and last part of a decree and that’s the sealing. This is where you consciously accept that what you have decreed will manifest with all the Light that God has released in answer to your calls. It also affirms that the Light through your decree is all Powerful, eternally sustaining, ever expanding and world enfolding until all on earth are ascended in the Light and free.

The sealing of a decree is itself a powerful affirmation that protects the Light and energy that was released against all the dark forces that would try to steal it for their own nefarious purposes.

I wanted to mention that The Summit Lighthouse published some books with hundreds of decrees designed for literally any situation or problem you can imagine. Most of the decrees were dictated to Mark and Elizabeth Prophet by the ascended masters. The words of each decree forms a specific formula that is designed to release an aspect of God’s sacred fire into any situation you are praying about.

Now, I want to share another pretty amazing story sent in from Brad, a friend of mine who experienced the instantaneous power of decrees first hand. He has been giving decrees for decades. I think you’ll find his testimonial shows how we can become more effective instruments for God’s work on earth. So here’s what he wrote:

It was a sunny January forth in twenty nineteen and I was working remotely from my home in the northern suburbs of Minneapolis, Minnesota. 

It was the usual work routine through the morning but later while eating lunch, I saw a news story about how widespread and destructive the meth epidemic had become in Minnesota. It was very disturbing. 

After watching it, I got a strong prompting to stop what I was doing and immediately start giving some decrees on this situation. So, I grabbed my decree book and opened it to the decree to Mighty Astrea, who is the Elohim of the white ray of purity. 

After the preamble, I gave some fiery calls to the Ascended Masters demanding the halting of this epidemic and its destruction of people’s lives according to the Will of God. 

I poured my heart and soul into this decree and gave it thirty six times, the whole time feeling a tremendous fire burning in my heart chakra. After I finished the decree I felt I had completed the spiritual work God asked me to do. 

The next day I got a pleasant surprise on TV that confirmed that the decrees I gave the day before had a big effect on this problem.

The morning news reported that at three in the afternoon the day before, the police pulled over two men in a car for failing to use a turn signal. This routine traffic stop led to their arrest with two others and the seizure of seven hundred and ninety three thousand dollars in cash, forty five pounds of meth and almost sixteen kilos of cocaine which both had a street value of over six hundred and seventy three thousand dollars.

This seizure was reported to be the largest drug bust in Minnesota history at the time. And coincidentally, the location where the men were pulled over happened to be just down the street from my home!

It’s clear to me that the prompting I got to give those decrees at that time helped the angels and ascended masters do their work to make sure the police were at the right place at the right time to make the bust and get those drugs off the streets. It felt good to be a part of heaven’s holy work on earth.
